The inaugural IFAF Junior World Championships will gather eight teams representing some of the best U-20 football players in the world in Canton, OH on Saturday, June 27 at historic Fawcett Stadium, home of the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Canada is entering this tournament ranked #1. Representing Pan-America is Canada, USA and Mexico. Representing Europe is France, Germany and Sweden. Tickets for football's first junior world championship are now available at www.jwcfootball.com or by calling 1-800 574-5874. All-day general admission tickets are $10; reserved tickets to all 12 tournament games are $50.

This great game has now expanded to over 50 countries on 6 continents. The first national Football federation outside of North America was in Japan, 1936 and then followed by Europe in 1976. Since then the sport has experienced a significant expansion with the founding of the European Federation of American Football (1996) followed by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).
Football Canada became a full member of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) in 2004, which is a full member with the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF).
IFAF currently sanctiones the Junior World Championships (2009 - Canton, OH), World Senior Flag Football Championships (2010 - TBA) & World Senior Championships (2011 - TBA)
